Our Beef

We source our genetics from industry leading herds throughout Australia, New Zealand and America. Including Millwillah, Millah Murrah, Landfall, Merridale, Texas and Baldridge Angus studs to name a few.


To ensure the best meat and eating quality, we practice low stress stock handling with cattle selected on docility, Growth,  EMA (Eye Muscle Area), IMF (Intramuscular Fat) and finishing ability.

All of our cattle are purebred Angus and are grass fed.

Buying meat direct from Warriwillah Farm

We sell meat by the carcass in either a quarter, half or full cow.

​

Purchasing beef in large quantities is a great way to buy, as it gives you the flexibility to always have meat on hand. It also means excellent value for money. However, it is important to understand how these purchases are priced.

​

Our pricing is based on Hot Carcass Weight (HCW) or Dressed Weight, which is the weight of the beast after it has been slaughtered, skinned and eviscerated. The weight for each order is noted by our processor and we use this to calculate the final price – however this is slightly different to the actual weight of beef you will receive, as weight loss occurs during butchering and ageing. This weight loss is due to shrinkage and the removal of inedible fat and unusable bones, and is generally between 10% to 25%.

Because we process the entire carcass, bones are included in your order. These are excellent for making soups and bone broth, and your dog will love them!

​

All final cuts are labelled and packed in Cryovac packaging, and can be stored in the refrigerator for 7 to 10 days or frozen for up to 12 months or more.

​

The cost per kg ranges from $15 to $18 per kg, and ranges in price depending on the final dressed weight.

A deposit of $500 is payable upon order, and the balance is payable after processing when we notify you of the precise final cost.

For example:

If the carcass weight of the animal is 300kg and the cost of a full cow at $15 per kg, the final cost will be $4,500 for a full cow.
